Hallo,
ich habe diese Woche Provisioning Server Images mit integriertem AutoCAD 2011 gebaut und diese wie gewohnt über die Appsense User Personalization in jede Session mitzunehmen. Nach längerem Hin und Her mit dem Support und ProcMon Logfiles zu lesen habe ich endlich die Lösung gefunden.
Man muss Process-Start und Process-Stop Action anlegen mit folgendem Inhalt. Beim ersten Start läuft eine MSI Installation durch welche einige Files unter %APPDATALOCAL%\Autodesk und %APPDATA%\Autodesk kopiert. Diese müssen über eine Copy Action beim Process Stop auf einen Fileshare kopiert werden, weiters muss man noch eine Registry-Hiving Action für HKCU\Software\Autodesk durchgeführt werden und ebenfalls auf den Fileshare kopiert. Beim Process-Start werden die Files in die jeweiligen Ordner zurück kopiert und somit kann man auch AutoCAD 2011 "personalisieren", da es mit den Onboard Mitteln von Appsense nicht geht.

ReplyDeleteI'm interested to look into your AppSense Config in regards to the personalization of AutoCAD 2011.
At the moment i'm struggling myself to get this working for ACAD 2011 and ACAD Mechanical 2011 which is being used a lot at my company.
P.S. probably an english version of your solution would do fine. My german just isn't that great. :)

Deleteyou have to do a Process Stopped Action where you copy/mirror all of the files under %APPDATALOCAL%\Autodesk and %APPDATA%\Autodesk and make a Registry Hiving action for the key: HKCU\Software\Autodesk to a fileshare per user. And also a Process Started action where you copy all of the files back to the local machine.
